This is my favorite golf course tree. It is located on the Village Green golf course in Hickory, PA. I am not sure what kind of tree but I have bonded with it. The branches piral up like a helix. Some days it resembles a giant gnome. Everytime I play there, I take its picture.
The white band indicates that is will be cut down. If that happens, I will be heartbroken.

That’s a beautiful tree. I hope they don’t really cut it down. It’s so tall and majestic.

Ohhhhh noooo! It is such a beautiful tree — tall and perfect Guardian! This makes me happy to view it, and sad to think of its demise. Is there any way to “protest” to save it?

The golf course is for sale again and I am hoping that the current owner puts his tree cutting plan on hold. If I knew who to talk to, I would.

Start asking around — maybe talk with nurseries that carry trees or landscapers — and ask for leads on how and who to talk with.

I like the title of your blog. Sounds like you are in the second stage of like, but have no intentions of slowing down. Still enjoying like. I do hope you get to save the trees at the gold course.
