Trust me, I have had sensible shoes that have hurt more. When you’re short you need a lift, why not a great pair of killer heels?
Recently, the Frick Art Museum in Pittsburgh had an exhibition called Killer Heels. These were my faves. They appear to be my size, 5’s and as Joan Rivers always said, when the shoe fits, buy them in every color!
Joan Rivers was my favorite comedienne, here are a few of her best lines…
“People say that money is not the key to happiness, but I always figured if you have enough money, you can have a key made.”
“The first time I see a jogger smiling, I’ll consider it.”
“When a man has a birthday, he takes a day off. When a woman has a birthday, she takes at least three years off.”
We all know Joan loved fashion and it would have been interesting to hear what she thought of some of the shoes from the show. Joan Rivers was also and advocate for women.
While we once thought that God invented heels so we could reach the top shelf, we know the real reason God invented them, to break the glass ceiling.
