While Emperor Hadrian’s military fortifications included the building of a stone wall across Great Britain designed to keep the Scots and Celts at bay, he is also known for completing Marcus Agrippa’s Pantheon. A philosophical dichotomy I find interesting.
For two thousand years, the Pantheon has stood holding up a concrete dome featuring an occulus which allows both the sunlight, moonlight and all forms of weather to cascade into the great structure.
Dedicated to all or every God, the Pantheon demonstrates openness both achitecturally and spiritually.
One has to wonder, if today’s “Wall ” promoters, are as equally open to the honor of every God or belief system as Agrippa and Hadrian. How bout it Mr. Trump?
